Check-in is any time after 4:00 PM; checkout is by 11:00 AM. Stays are two nights minimum, three over holidays. You’ll let yourself in with a smart lock. We send your personal door code before arrival. Early check-in (from 2:00 PM) or late checkout (until 12:00 PM) may be available with advance approval and a $50 fee each; we can confirm the day before your stay.

Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior authorization and a $100 non-refundable pet fee per dog, added when you book. Dog dishes, treats, and waste bags are waiting when you arrive. A few house rules for pups: bathroom breaks happen outdoors (no indoor pee pads), dogs stay off the furniture and counters, and please crate your dog if you head out without them. It’s a wooded mountain property, so keep an eye out for wildlife.

Whispering Ridge is a true mountain property. The final stretch is gravel road with real elevation, and the private drive is gravel as well. Follow the driving directions we send rather than GPS (it gets creative out here), and plan to arrive before dusk on your first night. In snow or ice, 4WD/AWD may be required. The driveway comfortably parks several vehicles, and there’s an EV charging station on site.

Starlink Wi-Fi keeps you connected (satellite-based, so brief fluctuations are possible, so download big files before you come). White-noise machines in every bedroom. The home is on well and septic: nothing but toilet paper down the drains, please. Child-friendly but not childproofed. There are open staircases, so keep little ones close. No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property; no parties, events, or visitors beyond your booked group. For everyone’s security there’s a Ring doorbell and two exterior cameras, never any recording indoors.
